My 3 Year Old Made This

It's the summer and when it rains, you cant go to the beach or pool. My little princess gets so sad when she cant play outside that I have to think of something creative to make inside fun =) Today, we made a wooden picture frame together. We first painted the natural wood frame blue. She was so excited to wear her smock! I then gave her one of my sponges and she dipped it into a lighter color blue paint. My 3 year old had so much fun sponging this frame. Finally, we glued on a pre-made rubber ducky that she picked out from Michaels. So, there you have it. Rainy day fun that costs a few bucks!

Thanks for looking,
Loreen

Oh, that sounds like so much fun. I can't wait to do that with my daughter. She's in the eating crayons stage. Very cute frame. Be sure to date it somewhere! :o)

How cute! Even older kids like doing that. My daughter made a frame for my husband last year and put hockey stickers on it for him. Michaels is a great place for the frames. Your daughters frame is great!
